Venture Capital Mx - Aviva Only 33% of adults in the country have access to formal credit, leaving an estimated 61 million Mexicans without this essential financial service. David Hernández, Filiberto Castro, Amran Frey, and Israel Garcia realized that a different approach was needed to address the challenges faced by the underbanked population, especially those outside of major metropolitan areas. Enter Aviva. Aviva is looking to change things by leveraging new technology to bridge the gap between online and traditional banking creating a "phygital approach" (blending both digital and physical experiences). Also special thank you to Sara Hayden Van Velkinburgh for helping put this together. (Full Venture Capital Mx feature link in the comments) #startups #venturecapital #mexico

I wish baseball was more popular in Mexico! 🇲🇽 It’s always surprising to see how few Mexican superstars are in the MLB. However, I remain optimistic that Mexico can become a hub for the next generation of professional baseball players.
Baseball is wildly popular in some Latin American countries... Other countries don't play baseball at all. In this clip Mack Meyer talks about baseball in Latin America and blows my mind with some statistics about The Dominican Republic! 👇👇
