Learning is very costly and it's a fact you must embrace. As a form of motivation, consider it an investment with harvest seen in "later days". It is made clear in Hebrews 12:11 that: No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest... #bemotivated #thelearningprocess #theharvest #beinspiredtoday #reapandsow

They say patience is a virtue, often times we want things to happen and go away right then and there. Unfortunately life doesn't always work like that, harvesting is not easy neither are you able to reap your benefits right away. What is crucial Is to take that first step, and when the time is right you will reap what you sow. #bebold# #challengeyourself# #movedforward#

No Harvest for the Slothful A sluggard does not plow in season; so at harvest time he looks but finds nothing. —Proverbs 20:4 The sluggard—variously translated as slacker or slothful—has laid down his tools, decided not to work. Or just decided not to decide. He has given up being productive; his theme song is Que Sera, Sera—whatever will be, will be. He lives in drift mode; no undertaking is so important that it can’t wait until tomorrow. A Polish proverb has it this way: “For the diligent a week has seven days, for the slothful seven tomorrows.” The slothful, under excuse of unfavorable weather, refuses to plant or plow until it’s too late. “There is a time for everything, a season for every activity . . . A time to plant and a time to harvest” (Eccl 3:1, 2). No planting, no harvesting. Sloth is one of the so-called Seven Deadly Sins. It deserves the honor. Major difficulties are minor to the diligent. Minor difficulties are major to the slothful.

Let's unpack a bit of wisdom from Ecclesiastes 3:2: "For everything, there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven." Basically, it's saying that as long as the world keeps spinning, planting seeds and harvesting crops will keep happening. Think of a patient farmer. They plant seeds, wait for them to grow, and then patiently wait for the harvest. Our lives are a bit like that – different seasons, including waiting times. But here's the thing: waiting without doing anything can be tricky. Take David, for instance. He got into some trouble with Bathsheba during a waiting period for war news. It's like the saying, "An idle mind is the devil's playground." Knowing that waiting is a part of life helps us handle it better. Ecclesiastes 3:2 suggests that each season, including waiting, has its time. Understanding this can help us plan and avoid making choices that might mess up our waiting season. In a nutshell, Ecclesiastes 3:2 is a reminder that waiting is not a waste of time. It's a regular part of life. So, let's make the most of waiting times by growing and getting ready for what comes next. Ready for the waiting game? 🌱🕰️ #SimpleWisdom #LifeJourney #SmartWaiting

This picture brings into view that we are in the 4th Qtr, and what I like to call our Season Of Harvest. Where just like farmers, we harvest the crops of all that we have done this year, and celebrate what we have accomplished and show gratitude for what we are blessed with. Now your harvest may look a bit different, you might be harvesting things like: - financial success - growing or budding career - relationship success. Whether it be with friends, family, coworkers or partners - reaching a goal or milestone in your life - having the strength to fight your demons and win No matter what you are harvesting this season. Make sure you take time to stop, show gratitude for the journey you have walked this year thus far. And celebrate your wins and losses. Because it all brought you to this moment. #seasonofharvest #4thqtr #bringithome #personaldevelopment #personalgrowth #gratitude #success #mindfulness
