More on Gemini by Google leaders! What strikes out the most is the main characteristic that makes it different from other models - its multimodality, meaning for us, end users, that the input can be not just text but photo, audio, video, and even code.
Why is this important (apart from the user experience)? As they imply in the video, Gemini can understand the world as we, people, can.
It is encouraging that they are talking about safety and responsibility build-in from the start and that AI is "technology for humanity" so everyone in the world can have access to information. Let's see how this plays out.
It's definitely going to be interesting to watch and test how Gemini will impact Google's products, which we use daily.

Spending on political advertising in the U.S. will jump 30% this year from the last presidential election in 2020, partly driven by higher spending on digital platforms, research firm Insider Intelligence has estimated.
