Experienced leader with a commitment to expanding opportunities; champion for economic and social equity.

Thank you, Brittany Charlton for this piece in today's Boston Globe. Years ago I experienced incompetence and bias from my primary care practitioner related directly to me being a gay man. It motivated me to seek new health care with Fenway Community Health and I've never looked back. While my experience was a fraction of more complex and systemic healthcare inequities affecting members of the LGBTQ+ community, it boils down to the training and support new MD's and practitioners need in supporting LGBTQ+ patients.

Thank you for sharing your story! While training and research are two of our focus areas, the third is dissemination and that’s all about storytelling.
