Power Platform & Azure Architect - Changing the world one app at a time! Note: I'm happy as an independent - please, dear recruiters: Save your energy - I'm only open for contracts, not for FTE roles!

I'm tired. Tired of all the AI-generated content, tired by the omnipresence of AI in every corner of my digital life. From the texts that populate my feeds to the images that shall illustrate them, everything seems to be generated by AI. Tools that promise to “enhance” or “rewrite” or "retouch" everything about me, from my appearance to my ideas, are taking over, and honestly, it’s exhausting. This constant push for perfection by algorithms is smoothing out the rough, unique edges that make us human. Every piece of content feels overly polished, losing the essence that makes things interesting and real. It’s like everything looks the same and feels like nothing anymore.   I find myself yearning for genuine human connections and creations. I miss the excitement of seeing something truly original, something that can only come from human ingenuity and not a script. I want to hear someone’s true voice, not an AI-modulated version. I want to see art that tells a human story.   It's time to reclaim our space from the overwhelming presence of #AI. Let’s prioritize the human touch and celebrate our imperfections. Let's encourage creativity that speaks to our hearts, not just algorithms that optimize our content.

You know.. I had same thought running since last few days.. as a consultant, feeling that clients and business just wanted to get in to the space without a real use case.. they just wanted a tagline AI enabled.. we are with revolution.. we are just getting Awwwed by what it can do Vs do I really need it ? As you mentioned about Human touch and being imperfect… in the race of having natural conversation with the AI, we should not loose natural conversation with other human beings..!! Hopefully this shall pass soon..!!

Stolen from someone else (sorry can't remember who): the big problem with AI is that it is doing the wrong stuff! AI is doing all the creative things, while we still do the dishes and cleaning, all the boring stuff. I want AI to do that so that I can be free to be creative! Couldn't agree more.

AI magic wand buttons are great for doing the tasks you don't really want to. Communicating & sharing your own thoughts should NOT be one of those tasks. GenAI is a really useful companion for figuring out something that's unfamiliar to you and getting up to speed in solving new problems. It should NOT be put to represent your own experience and skills in the domain you're an expert in. The shiny new AI hammer is being used for hitting absolutely everything these days. Eventually we'll learn not everything is a nail - yet there will be plenty of damage done by the omnipresent hammers given out to all users of digital tools without any consideration of their impact.

Why give AI such special significance? Is it really that different from photoshoped ads or success story social media posts or all the shops trying to sell you goods and services wherever you go? Isn't that already tiring? Maybe the problem lies deeper? Or: Why not let AI be just another tool? Why not use it for self-expression previously not achievable? Writing, creating images or even music are now possible on a next level. If AI seems to attack you with a lot of energy use that and turn it around to your benefit😉 AI Aikido😁

I wonder if/when LinkedIn, for example, will start detecting AI written content and penalise it. I definitely don't enjoy seeing so much low-effort content either. When I'm writing something for the community, I'm always striving to provide something new and original. There's still plenty of uncharted territory.

Hey Luise 🙌 I can understand your exhaustion and at the same time i feel different on this topic. AI has greatly enhanced my possibilities of creating great Content. It has been a tool to visualize my ideas, challenge my concepts and to make things alone that I needed a couple colleagues in the past for. Why do you feel that the outcome of AI has to be generic? Cheers ✌️

Humans are still there, but our creativity may be becoming what a handmade product is to a mass-produced commodity in the long term (a bit of a rarity, way more expensive to produce, less profitable overall). Not sure how can we possibly turn that trend around (although, as great as work relationships can be sometimes, they are just that - work relationships, maybe we all need to learn to let them go... a bit...)

For me it's like during Covid, suddenly every day there was a Meetup somewhere, an online community meeting, a HandsOn and if you hadn't taken part, you had the feeling at the beginning that you had missed something. Over time, this has normalized and there have been more offline meetings again and the personal exchange has come to the fore again, I think it's the same with the AI content.

Here’s an entirely natural, spots and all smile from me to send some good feelings your way

Cheers to this! I want things to take a little more time, for one human to teach another the basics of the work they do, and create that evolution, much like I was taught to eat, crawl, walk, run and grow, and not to simply hand it to a robot. I want the world to find a way to give the millions of underprivileged a chance to earn money, without the need for a degree. AI will undoubtedly make the rich more wealthy, and the rest, well..... But, where humans don't have the brain nor the capacity, I want intelligent compute to provide the insights humanity needs to solve the challenges that truly need it; not the challenges that would give someone a job that perhaps isn't time dependent.
