☀️ On a sunny day in London, Intel Ignite London Cohort 2 got together for a special midterm session focusing on founder mental health 🧘 👑 We held a Founder Survival Guide workshop with Benjamin Jones, who spoke about leadership styles, communication and energy levels, and accountability. 🧠 Cognitive Neuroscientist, Trish Pashazadeh-Allen explained how our brains work and the effects sleep habits has on it 😴 👐 We also had a CEO Dilemma session where founders got to connect over common challenges. A general election is approaching and how the NHS is run will play a key role for voters. Polling shows the public wants primary and community care to be a higher priority for NHS resources than hospital services. There was a clear support for a steady rebalancing of funding being directed in primary and community care over time. This aligns with the recent restructuring of the NHS into Integrated Care Boards, which view the patient pathway as a continuum rather than as fragmented stages of primary, secondary, and tertiary care. This approach forecasts a future where more funding will be directed towards preventative healthcare and longevity.
