🚀 Exciting Update! 🚀 Another week means one more step toward passing the SHRM-CP exam! 📚 I tackled some important preparation work this past week to make sure I'm headed in the right direction. I started by exploring the SHRM BASK system, which offers a guide for navigating the course and its many portions. 🗺️ This tool is really helping me comprehend how my study journey flows as a whole. There's more, though! 💡 I also explored the many resources available on the SHRM Learning System platform, which includes videos, ePubs, and flashcards. 📹 And let me tell you, the "Your Guide to Understanding SJI" video was an eye-opener! 👀 I also made sure to look at important documents from Strayer University's course materials and the SHRM Learning System, such as the "Introduction to SHRM Learning System" and the "SHRM-CP Certification Preparation Course: Getting Started" documents. 📃 These resources are helping me improve my study technique and boost my confidence. Recently, I received my Official SHRM-CP certification score report and found out that I was 10 points away from passing. It was disheartening to know that I had one area where I lacked and if I had answered a few more questions right, I would have passed. Nevertheless, it's time to study again and get ready for the next testing window. I am determined to improve and pass the next time around. #SHRMcertification #HRprofessional #continuouslearning

Emotional Intelligence (EQ/EIQ) has been a topic that I have spent a lot of time researching, learning about, and practicing throughout my career. EQ is a way of recognizing, understanding, and choosing how we think, feel, and act. Key is self-awareness and self-management. EQ trumps IQ. However, EQ + IQ = "We-Q". It is about the work of the team (the "we") for the greater collective performance. The differentiator. With Let's Lead we are deploying EQ in our individual and team coaching in a new engagement.
