New technology is always amazing to see, but for it to have real impact, there has to be a way to deploy it at scale. Today Gatik and Isuzu Motors Ltd. announced an industry-first partnership to mass-produce Level 4 autonomous trucks at scale in a dedicated production facility. With the driver shortage worsening across the US and Canada, this is exactly the sort of partnership that will ensure the future of our supply chain network. I was privileged to call this building home for a few treasured years. It’s where I worked with some of the most fantastic individuals of my career, made lifelong friends and got to marvel every day at the orange thread that ran through every inch of the building, inspired by the great Bruce McLaren. There’s no place quite like it, even now.

Investing in people and their careers is so important, especially when they're young. When he was still in college, Ryan Liquorish came to work for me as an intern on the Mazda Motor Europe account. He had no experience but bucket loads of enthusiasm, attention to detail and passion for the work we were doing. Fast forward a few years and we reunited at McLaren Automotive Ltd where he applied those formative experiences to another internship before securing a full time position. Since then, he's risen through the ranks at Maserati and I am beaming to see he's now taking the next great step in his career at Peugeot. I was lucky enough to have had that same opportunity from Emma Lowndes, Ysabel Vazquez and Andrew Hearn and I still count them as so instrumental in shaping my own career path. Experience isn't everything; with a chance and some direction, great careers can follow. #internships

Having launched Archer's Midnight #evtol aircraft to a select group of investors, media and partners in November last year, it was great to see the aircraft make its public debut on a global stage at the International Paris Air Show last week. Proud moment for Brian Gump, Adam Goldstein and the entire Archer team. Reflecting on a week of non-stop aviation announcements coming from the City of Light, it's clear that eVTOL aircraft now have a meaningful place in the public consciousness and the new golden age of travel really is just around the corner.
