If you are also given the responsibility to teach , train or lead a team of learners or Trainees on finance, IT, Software Engineering, literature, geography , geology, Political Science, Diplomacy, Development Studies, Law & Legal Studies , etc. or any other subjects or professional courses! If you say that being a mathematics teacher , you know only mathematics and so you are not capable of teaching other subjects or unable to take responsibility and accomplish assignments of other disciplines or trade ! My opinion, you are neither a Competent HRD professional, Trainer, Teacher nor a leader of trade and never were or never will be! Simply because, they , the true Leaders and the Teachers must be willing and know how to learn and there should be no word as " IMPOSSIBLE" &/or EXCUSE in the DICTIONARY or DIARY of a true Leader or Teacher to learn no things and teach other the same to apply and accomplish or lead any assignment : be it related or not relevant any way to their subject of previous education; trade of existing profession or field of earned skills or expertise

As we continue to navigate the evolving food ecosystem, I wanted to share additional insights from my time at #SXSW! #Video2! A whole-of-system approach will be required to feed the world’s growing population + this March 2024 article (linked below) from the Global Food Security Journal highlights several important actions we need to take:     (1) Accelerating Innovation - in food and system development to sustain our growing population, like biofortification combined with climate resilience for more nutrient-dense, drought-resistant produce. (2) Building Trust Among Food System Partners - to reach a shared vision on environmental, health, and safety standards. (3) Developing Transition Pathways to the Future – at the national and regional levels – from building infrastructure for new technologies to updating policies.    Where in this process do you see your organization playing a role? As Nestlé proudly touts its global initiatives to increase profit margins and focus on its employees, it's essential to examine the realities behind the glossy facade. While initiatives like the Youth Initiative since 2010, spearheaded by Laurent Freixe, are heralded as forward-thinking strategies to empower the next generation of workers, there's a darker side to this narrative. Behind the scenes, Nestlé's so-called "Old Initiative" paints a stark contrast. Experienced employees, often beyond the age of 55, are sidelined, marginalized, and ultimately pushed out of the company through early retirements or forced departures. This stands in direct contradiction to the company's purported commitment to employee welfare and development. While executives and board members enjoy the privilege of staying on until the age of 72, frontline workers face the harsh reality of age discrimination and corporate indifference. This double standard not only undermines Nestlé's claims of fostering a supportive work environment but also perpetuates systemic inequalities within the organization. As consumers and stakeholders, we must hold Nestlé accountable for its treatment of all employees, regardless of age. True corporate responsibility extends beyond flashy initiatives and must encompass fair treatment, equal opportunities, and respect for all members of the workforce. It's time for Nestlé to align its actions with its rhetoric and prioritize the well-being and dignity of all employees, irrespective of age. Valuable insights were provided on benefits, claims process, and approval procedures. 🌟 Health Screenings: We received an overwhelmingly positive response, with an incredible 99.5% attendance of registered individuals. Our associates appreciated the initiative and accessibility of our health screening services. Test results, explanations, and lifestyle recommendations were positively received, emphasizing the importance of proactive healthcare. 🌟 Catch Good Behavior: Our program highlighted the significance of recognizing and promoting safety-conscious behaviour. While improvements in communication are needed due to ongoing changes, our associates actively participated. We identified opportunities for better education and engagement in the future, reflecting our commitment to continuous improvement. 🌟 Steps for Walk: During our recent event, our incredible associates contributed 254,656 steps! This outstanding participation showcased our dedication to safety and honouring injured workers. 🌟 Healthy Snacks: We provided our associates with nourishing options such as apples, bananas, and protein bars throughout the week. The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive, with our team delighted by the availability of healthy snacks. We were particularly inspired by a heartwarming story of an associate sharing these snacks and promoting healthy habits at home, extending the Select spirit beyond the workplace. At Select Food Products Limited, we strive to create a safer work environment, promote well-being, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. What a way to end the year ! It would be remiss of me not to mention that whilst we are all relaxing, eating and celebrating over the holidays - we should still be mindful of #foodwaste The Ecology Center has found that in the United States, we see a 25% increase in waste between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve. That’s 1 million extra tons of waste, and 21% of that is food. Here are some #toptips to manage your #zerofoodwaste footprint over the #holidayseason : 🎄 Plan in advance by making a grocery list before you go to the store, and stick to it. While listing what you need, check out what you already have in the pantry, the fridge, and the freezer 💚 💚✅🎄 BUY #upcycledfoods - food/ingredients that have been diverted from landfill - creating delicious, sustainable and nutritious food. What’s not to love ? Look for the #upcycledcertified logo. 🎅Resist the urge to over-prepare big quantities of food; focus on preparing just enough 😊 🌲Store food correctly. Separate sauces from salads and meals, when possible, so that the leftovers can stay good for longer and can be reused in different ways. 🎁 Don’t over serve. Everyone can always ask for more if needed. Another food-waste option is to serve “family style” or “buffet style”. This means putting everything in big bowls and plates on the table and letting people serve themselves. 🎄Encourage friends and family to take leftovers home. Be prepared with transparent reusable containers and notes to write down the content in each of them and the date. 🎅Store leftovers in the freezer — there is no doubt that you will enjoy them on some busy weekdays after you’ve had a break from them for a little while. 🎁Explore “holiday leftover recipes” online for new ideas (quick Google search shows over 27 million options 😱) 🌟Feel free to donate the excess to a food bank or homeless shelter nearby. They are always accepting donations and having extra can be a great comfort around the holidays. ✅Compost! This is a useful way to give life to old food waste and create nutrient-rich soil that can be used in gardens, or potted plants. As they say, composting is taking care of the future. Anthropy 2023: my favourite nuggets Attending the Anthropy UK gathering earlier this month brought to mind the Everlasting Gobstopper of Willie Wonka fame. This fictional confectionery constantly changed colour and flavour as it was sucked. So it was with Anthropy - a three-day smorgasbord of stimulating ideas and conversations across a diverse range of topics. Memorable nuggets for me included: The continued assertion from some that ‘consumer demand drives what brands produce’. For me, those six words are more accurately reversed to ‘what brands produce drives consumer demand’. The word order has an immeasurable influence on the landing of responsibility for the changes we need to see. The value of walking side by side, versus face-to-face, for gaining new insight. For me, the key benefit here is the greater comfort facilitated for silences - so vital, but so rarely permitted when our face is under direct scrutiny. The problem that low income families don’t experiment with new, and potentially healthier, foods for their children because of the risk of waste. For me, rather than innovation in healthy foods to appeal to fussy eaters, what we need is an attitudinal change towards our food and its value - a ‘nose-to-tail’ approach which needs to start with adults as role models. A lack of trust for both individuals and communities from those with the money. I learned of some truly excellent initiatives to strengthen community engagement, where the barrier to a large-scale rollout was exactly this. I’d be intrigued to map the key stakeholders in a systemic constellation to shed light on the dynamics behind this purported lack of trust. The need for education of citizens proffered time and again as a solution to current societal issues. One example that stood out for me was the purported need for education in critical thinking to prevent citizens falling into news silos. It concerns me that education is being asked to do so much heavy lifting. How often is it relied upon as an alternative to organisations taking responsibility for situations linked to their offerings? The need to better connect people to their feelings. EarthPercent aim to do this through music, and John O’Brien MBE ‘The Anthropist’ did this in his own panel session with a carefully curated playlist designed to reinforce his wise words. However, music is not the only means: I’m working to inspire a greater focus on intuitive wisdom through the use systemic constellations. I would love to hear what others are doing. And to see more sessions devoted to this topic at Anthropy 2024. Disappointed in the latest People Management magazine article, appearing to criticise employers for promoting #veganuary initiatives! In a time when the green agenda is gaining momentum, why not encourage employees to try something new for a month? They don't have to participate, but the health benefits undeniably boost performance! 💪 So, why not give it a shot? In 2024, with environmental concerns at the forefront, it's disheartening to see a negative tone. Younger generations, such as Millennials and Generation Z, often prioritise working for companies that align with their values, particularly when it comes to environmental concerns. PS. It's worth pointing out that I enjoy reading the magazine, especially as a regular reader and participator.
