From the Roc, to the racetrack 🏁 . Happy Formula One, Miami! 🏎️

April is Earth Month and we teamed up with Clean Miami Beach for our routine beach clean up, even though we believe every day is Earth Day! Following a packed “Flow like Water” yoga + sound bath by Esencia, 140 volunteers participated and helped us pick up 418 pounds of trash within the beach and boardwalk vicinity! It was an honor to take part as Clean Miami Beach hit 100,000 pounds of trash picked up within their 5 years.   Special thanks to our incredible partners: -Sway Seaweed packaging - Materials that replenish the planet, from sea to soil -Lonely Whale - Preventing plastic waste from entering the ocean -LeClub - the first swimwear brand to adopt seaweed packaging which was first debuted in February 2024, featuring a swim trunk made from recycled plastic water bottles and packaged in a custom EcoEnclose kraft paper retail box featuring Sway’s certified 100% biobased Seaweed Window.   Here are some Earth Month facts: 🌎 Plastic never biodegrades, it stays around forever 🌎 There is no real recycling ♻️ you think you are though 🌎100 million plastic cups are used in the USA daily 🌎2 million plastic bags are used worldwide per minute 🌎By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish 🌎1 million plastic bottles used per minute globally 🌎500 million straws used daily in the USA 🌎Every year, 8 million tons of plastic waste escapes into the oceans. That’s the equivalent of setting five garbage bags full of trash on every foot of coastline around the world.   How can you help? Stop using single use plastics such as: water bottles, straws, bags, cups, & utensils. Switch to alternatives, such as using the reusable water bottles each of our guests receives and refill with the many water stations located throughout the resort 😊. 

#TBT to last months FitFest at the Roc! It was an incredible fitness extravaganza with popular local trainer Rachel Joy! We laughed, got our sweat on and had a blast as we brought together influencers and fitness enthusiasts from Miami. Check out calendar of events for our next event!
