💭 The other day in a coaching session, a client asked me how I decide what to post on LinkedIn. I've been asked this question before, but hadn't given it the thought that it deserves. 📈 If you're looking to grow your presence on LinkedIn, here are a few questions to help you decide what content you might want to share: 1️⃣ Is the content timely/relevant for your current industry/network, or that which you're looking to pivot into? 2️⃣ Is the content something that invites conversation or sparks new ideas? 3️⃣ Is the content something that YOU can get behind/support? 4️⃣ Is the content adding value in some way? Either for your brand personally, or for the brand of your organization/clients? Also, a gentle reminder that sharing content does not mean generating original copy each time. A re-post of something that you find useful with a brief explanation and/or a nod to the original author can go a long way in building your online presence, too! 💝 Bonus tip: if posting on LinkedIn feels uncomfortable, ask a few people in your network to engage with your content - before you post it. Soon enough, the nerves will dissipate and you'll be growing your network in a way that feels authentic to who you are. #careercoaching #linkedintips
