Resilience is a quality that we often talk about in the professional world, but for me, it holds a deeply personal meaning. After two years of experiencing mystery symptoms, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Today is an infusion day, a day that takes a lot out of me physically and mentally. Living with MS has been a journey of learning and adapting. In fact, the week I got diagnosed, I ran my first 5K. That experience taught me that resilience is about pushing forward even when the path is uncertain and difficult. I am incredibly grateful to my boss and my company, TalentBridge, for their steady support. They provide me with the time and structure I need around my infusion days, allowing me to manage my health while continuing to contribute to our team's success. This diagnosis has taught me the true value of a supportive work environment and the strength that comes from facing challenges head-on. To anyone else dealing with personal struggles while balancing professional responsibilities, remember: resilience is not about never falling; it’s about rising every time we do. #Resilience #MultipleSclerosis #SupportiveWorkplace
Wishing you all the best on your journey, Lexy.
You're awesome and am inspired by your story 😊 There's a Japanese proverb I read about yesterday - "nana korobi ya oki" which roughly translates to "fall down 7 times, get up 8" which I think perfectly hits on your resilience. Keep up the good work Lexy!
You go girl! What an inspiration! ❤️
