While making a leather conditioner, I tried to make two different types: a balm and a paste. The image shows the first attempt, which had paraffin wax in it. If you own a pair of cowboy boots and have let them sit around for a bit, you will eventually see the same thing happen: the paraffin rising to the surface. There is nothing wrong with that happening. I must say, it gave this book an interesting look, one that I might offer as a possible choice when it comes to visual aesthetics. What do y'all think?

Want your content to grab people by the eyeballs and move their hearts? Add contrast. They say contrast is king. Early in my career, I used to think that meant color value (that's the distance between light and dark for my non-design friends) Turns out, it's so much more including: - Character personalities - Spacing in a composition - Pacing in a script - Depth of field - Speed of movement - Rhythm of the edit - Emotional Impact And that's the tip of the iceberg. Adding contrast creates interest. Interest is attention, and that is the first step to connecting with people. (Which is something Motion Graphics is naturally good at!)

It wouldn't be a list of dazzling rebrands without mentioning Evri. 🚚 While its competitors opt for consistency, Evri re-established itself by choosing the exact opposite: typographic maximalism. Their rebrand was entirely driven by type, with Monotype creating a bespoke typeface programmed to randomize letters and symbols. It’s a revolutionary decision in a market where reliability is conveyed by static, dependable branding. See more rebrands that use type to create a lasting effect, and find out how you can too: https://mntype.co/3NGkYlp
