"Embodying the spirit of mentorship and kindness, Jesse never shies away from helping others grasp our new curriculum. Even after school hours, her dedication to teaching shines bright! We're thankful to have her on our team, just as much as families mention their gratitude for Miss Jesse. Her consistent support and compassion don't go unnoticed. Here's to celebrating the educators who go above and beyond!"

“My Mummy works in a school, but she's not a teacher” – my daughter, aged 7.
This got me thinking, how do I explain to my 7-and 4-year-old what I do? Answer Attempt #1: Mummy is a Storyteller.
Pretty accurate, right? One aspect of my role is having the responsibility of capturing and sharing the essence of my schools through narratives, experiences, and moments. Together with my team, we weave stories of our students, staff, and the school itself, highlighting achievements, challenges, and aspirations. And through storytelling, we bring life to the values, culture, and identity of our school, helping others to understand and connect with what makes us special. It's about painting a vivid picture of who we are and the impact we have, one story at a time.
That’s why I am incredibly proud to share the launch our Create Your Story campaign, where authenticity became the guiding principle of our brief.
Too often, we see marketing efforts focus solely on showcasing facilities, products or numbers neglecting the authentic stories that breathe life into statistics.
Our mission was clear: show, don't tell. Go take a look, let me know what you think. https://lnkd.in/ecYQUgNk#CreateYourStory#BrandStory#CreativeCampaigns#StrategicStorytelling
As Hampshire's leading academic 3-18 independent day school, we believe in more than just informing families about what our schools offer. We want to show you who we are.
We are proud to share with you our Create Your Story campaign, a collection of 70 genuine and authentic narratives that reveal the true character of our schools. Uncover the diverse passions and love of learning through stories told by those at the heart of our community: the children at Stroud, pupils at KES, and our remarkable staff.
Both King Edward's and Stroud are committed to fostering an environment where every child's journey can flourish, providing opportunities to create their own unique story.

The Magic of Teddy Harte: A Four-Legged Reading Companion
Yesterday marked a special day at our local school with the launch of the next Teddy Reading Group session! 📚🐻 The pre-reading meet-and-greet with the children was just the beginning of what promises to be a series of captivating programs. As Teddy sat attentively, the children’s imaginations set the classroom aglow, fostering a sense of belonging through the universal language of storytelling.
The act of sharing stories is more than just an educational tool; it’s a way to weave the fabric of community, to instill empathy, and to ignite a lifelong love for reading. We’re not just teaching literacy; we’re nurturing future leaders who understand the value of giving back.
As we gear up for the second session, we’re filled with anticipation for the incredible journey of learning that lies ahead. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to make a positive impact through education and community engagement. 🎉 📚 🧸
Let’s give a round of ‘applaws’ for Teddy Harte, and the little readers who make this all possible! 🐾

Fostering Strong Family Bonds and the Integration of Faith-Based Values:
Homeschooling emphasizes family-centric education, allowing parents to play a more active role in their children's learning journey. By introducing homeschooling to parents in the church, you promote an educational approach that fosters strong family bonds. Church leaders and experienced homeschooling parents willing to lend their knowledge and counsel to other families can become a supportive community where families share the teaching load, resources, and encouragement in the way of a "homeschool co-op" or "Church Schoolhouse." This aligns with the church's commitment to nurturing strong family values and providing a supportive network for its members who wish to exit the public school system, teaching their children at home and weekly/bi-weekly at their local Church Schoolhouse, rather than taking a back seat while the State disciples them.
Educating within a church community allows for seamlessly integrating faith-based values into the educational experience. Parents and church leaders can incorporate a Biblical worldview and Godly standards/morals, ensuring that education is not only academically enriching but also spiritually grounding. This alignment between education and faith strengthens the church community's commitment in assisting every family who wishes to homeschool. The church makes it possible because they open their doors weekly or semi-weekly to homeschooling families who desire community while teaching and taking classes with their children at the Schoolhouse.
By introducing homeschooling to a church congregation, the leadership board creates an environment that supports both academic and spiritual growth, reinforcing the sense of community and shared values within the church. The pastor and church leaders, recognizing current trends of the mass exodus from the public school system (K-12), affords these families "a place to land," facilitating a strong solution to parents who wish to disciple their own children under the covering of a local church body. www.ChurchSchoolhouse.com
Our latest blog post shares Fabiola's story! I hear this over and over from many parents about how they were disolutioned with the quality of education their children were receiving! She knew she can be a better educator for her children when e-learning started during the Covid shut down! She enjoys teaching her children many things in line with her culture and their ancestral roots!

In just 2 hours, I crafted a video entirely on my iPhone—from scripting to filming and editing. Here's how:
•Crystal Clear Vision: I started with a precise idea of the message and atmosphere I wanted to convey, laying a solid foundation for the project.
•Efficient Coaching: Quickly and effectively guiding those on camera ensured smooth filming and captured the essence of the message. Their willingness to participate was crucial.
•Strategic Equipment Use: Leveraging affordable gear like $15 wireless lapels from Amazon and using cinematic mode on my iPhone, I achieved high-quality results without breaking the bank.
•Intelligent Editing Decision: Editing in Canva seamlessly integrated branding elements, typography, and color schemes, resulting in a cohesive and professional video.
•Action-Oriented Approach: By diving in without overthinking, I embraced creativity and spontaneity, leading to a fast and effective production. While not professional-grade, the video served its purpose effectively.
Though lacking the polish of a professional studio, the video's effectiveness and quick turnaround highlight the importance of resourcefulness and maintaining standards in communication. Even with limited tools, it's possible to convey messages effectively and impactfully.
A special welcome to new students and families! We're thrilled to have you join us for the 2024-2025 school year. We can't wait to meet you all and embark on this exciting journey together! See you soon!

Reflecting on the past academic year, I've witnessed incredible growth in our children since last September. Over the past 9 months, we've all learned so much. As educators, we've honed our skills in observation to better connect with our students. In turn, the children have developed patience, focus, and concentration. Every area of our classroom nurtures their cognitive, social, emotional, and critical thinking skills, shaping them into confident individuals.
Montessori pedagogy is truly child-driven, emphasizing the importance of connecting with children from their perspective rather than imposing an adult-centric approach. Here's a glimpse of our children at work, embodying the essence of this philosophy.
Thank you for making a difference every day, Jesse!
