Short term approach and doesn’t work with everybody 👎

Fear is no way to lead. The absolute worst leader I've encountered in my career used threats and intimidation tactics to force direct reports to align with his unethical approach to running a plant. He used his position and fear to mask his incompetence. There was no open discussion and complete lack of trust amongst his team. Disastrous for everyone. We can do better.

Unfortunately, there are some who STILL subscribe to this primitive style of “leadership”. I’d love to say they “never got the memo”, although their ego and thirst for “success” (number based, of course) drives them. They can never imagine the real success they’d achieve coupled with building the next generation of “real leaders” to build any organization. Said another way…at the end of the day they are truly weak.

They must not be educated if they use fear!
