Today was all about listening and learning- it was fascinating! Colin Lewis explained that in-store media is misunderstood for 7 reasons: 1️⃣Inventory- size, type and ad units 2️⃣Measurement- lack of measurement to justify large budgets 3️⃣Comparison- effectiveness vs other media & other stores 4️⃣Creative- misunderstanding of capabilities and technology 5️⃣Ecommerce- online advertising has taken the headlines 6️⃣Monetisation- unclear how to monetise 7️⃣Status- instore isn't sexy Vanessa Henry explained retail media has to work hard for ✅️the retailer, ✅️the suppliers (brand) ✅️and the shoppers There were so many fantastic examples of this. 📸 Photo is an image of Chris Riegel's presentation.
