Every day, I strive to show my two daughters that anything is possible. I want them to see that they can pursue their passions, follow their hearts, and dream big. Today was my first full-day back to work after dealing with a family emergency. One text last Wednesday, lead to me running out the door and clearing my schedule for about 4 days. My team and leader (Nicole LeMaire) were nothing but supportive. I can’t tell you how many messages of support I received across our Experiential Seevices team. This morning I was able to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my kids before diving back in and catching up. More than anything, this is the reason why I work for Advantage Solutions. Work is important, but family is everything and I have one at home and at my “job”.

🌟 Embracing Balance at Work: Redfining Success 🌟 Stepping out of my comfort zone to share something that has been impactful in my life recently. In the fast-paced world of work, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and grind. Through self-reflection, I realized that my personal narrative of success was too immersed in relentless pursuit—of deadlines, perfection, and unyielding action. It struck me that I was holding myself to an unreasonable standard, one I wouldn't expect or encourage anyone else on our team to meet. I was on a path for burnout and it was time for a conscious shift. I decided to give myself permission to find more balance at work by embracing intentionality, prioritizing value-added tasks, and choosing progress over perfection. ⏰ Being Intentional with Time: In a world that glorifies busyness, I'm making a deliberate choice to be intentional with my time. It's more than just managing minutes; it's about checking myself to ensure I'm delegating effectively, prioritizing moments to teach others, and carving out space to be curious. 💡 Focusing on Value-Added Work: Rather than getting caught up in a sea of never ending tasks, I'm redirecting my energy towards value-added work. It's about making a meaningful impact with each endeavor and ensuring that my contributions align with the greater objectives. 🚀 Prioritizing Progress Over Perfection: Perfection can be a paralyzing pursuit. I've shifted my mindset to prioritize progress. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a win. Maybe you can relate. And if you do, I hope you will give yourself permission to redfine your definition of success too.
