Health & Wellness: Can Tech Bridge the Cultural Divide? In a world that increasingly recognizes the spectrum of identities, the urgent need to adapt our health systems to this reality becomes more apparent. Yet, healthcare still often lags behind in reflecting this complexity. A recent panel cohosted by Havas & Infillion tackled the vast potential and current challenges we are facing at the intersection of technology, culture, and healthcare. Dive into this transformative discussion through our comprehensive blog write-up here: https://lnkd.in/eVqGEp_X If you're pressed for time, feel free to save the blog for later—it's well worth the read! Meanwhile, here are my top takeaways from this panel of experts: 🔹 Amanda Ralston, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA eloquently challenged binary thinking in healthcare, advocating for a holistic view that appreciates the full spectrum of human identity. "We must rise above dichotomous thinking to truly embrace the complexity of human identity," Amanda remarked. 🔹 Cedric "Jamie" Rutland MD FCCP highlighted the tangible impacts of non-inclusive healthcare practices, emphasizing the necessity for training that equips healthcare providers to better understand diverse patient experiences. "Many physicians are not comfortable with non-binary individuals, significantly affecting patient willingness to seek care." Jamie noted. 🔹 Oodaye Shukla underscored the critical role of data, stressing the need for purposeful collection that serves all demographics. "Data must be purposeful, inclusive, and reflective of all demographics to be truly transformative," Oodaye explained. 🔹Brian Robinson, our moderator, encapsulated the stakes of our discussions, "We are at a crucial juncture in scientific advancement, and it's imperative that we harness this momentum to foster meaningful change." Being a CMO, a life-long creative marketer, and a proud founder of Creative Spirit US, I could go on and on about this topic, but I'll pause..for now! A VERY special thank you to our panelists for not only illuminating these pressing issues but also highlighting the essential role of empathy in healthcare marketing. It is my hope that we will all be inspired by the potential of leveraging technology alongside a cultural movement that prioritizes inclusivity, creating a more human-centric healthcare experience for everyone. ✨ #HealthCareMarketing #NonBinary #Data #FutureofHealth #InfillionAtCannes #CannesLions
