Tough as my setbacks have been, they are among my greatest teachers. Hard to remember to be grateful for them but after time, it becomes easier to see the positives.

Can self-doubt be a good thing? Doubt alerts us that we are in new territory and calls us to pay attention to our preparation. It can signal we are taking risks - opening ourselves to appreciate new perspectives and ideas. Doubt keeps us humble and hungry to learn more.

How often are we honest with ourselves? Really honest? About our strengths –acknowledging ourselves. About our weaknesses – recognizing our gaps. About our biases – challenging the judgments we make. Self-awareness is a muscle we can build. The more we build that muscle, the better we can perform. #leadership development

I LOVE Atlas of the Heart. I find it to be a lexicon for exploring and understanding emotions which then make it easier to have stronger connections and appreciative of the stories we tell each other. Her communication style, written and spoken, is so comfortable and easy (and fun) to read or watch. No pretense. Just authentic Brené.
