One of the favorite things about my job is dropping by a job site with goodies and brightening the day. Who doesn’t love a cookie?? There’s a lot of gratitude for the partnerships we have and a cookie doesn’t come close to expressing that, but it sure tastes good. 😋 Call me for your staffing needs in South Austin and South Fort Worth!! 210-788-0248 #hirequestdirect #temporarystaffing #cookiesaredelicious

Three months ago, I made the switch to Fingerhut Recruiting, and one thing that stood out to me was their dedicated hourly recruiting model. Coming from a contingent environment, it's been a refreshing change. In the past, there was often pressure to fill roles quickly and move on to the next role, which sometimes meant sacrificing quality. Here at Fingerhut Recruiting, the focus is on finding the perfect match for both the candidate and the company. This allows me to take the time to truly understand the candidate's skills, experience, and long-term goals. It's all about building a strong, long-lasting relationship with the team, not just filling a seat. If you would like to learn more about how we are shaking up the recruiting world, and how we can help you with your recruiting needs. Let me or Adam Fingerhut know.

Here at RecruiterU, using metrics to help recruiters create predictable revenue is a big part of our mission. So how can we anticipate for time off during holidays or vacations? Before getting overwhelmed, try to remember that our metrics system takes your financial goal and essentially reverse engineers that figure in order to find out exactly what you need to do on a day to day basis. Say your daily number of presentations is 9 and you're planning to take 2 days off around Thanksgiving. This means that in order to keep your metrics in line, you must find a way to fit in those 18 presentations. Think of it like when a baseball game is cancelled and is later made up during a double header... If you can add an extra call or two every day, you'll be back on track in no time! #recruiter #recruiting #recruitinglife #recruiters #headhunter #executivesearch #executivesearchfirm #recruitingfirm #milliondollarrecruiter #recruiterthinktank

We help recruiters build consistent revenue, develop a strong team and build a REAL business that runs without them.

Embedded / Fractional Talent Consulting | Unapologetic TA Nerd | Consistently Ranked "Top 2" For "Person I'd Want At My Table During a Mystery Dinner Theater Event"
At a family BBQ this weekend, I had a quick blast from the past! Most of you know I was raised by a single dad. (Yes, when you see Buckley Schwerd randomly telling me how great I am on one of my posts, that's actually not a coincidence!! He's my number #1 fan 🤗). He's always been motivated to keep a tidy house - and I'm equally motivated to not clean the house. Lots of horn locking in my younger years, and probably the only real source of tension in our otherwise peaceful house. I remembered this weekend - when I was about 16 or 17, my sister (also a tidy person - well, "tidier" than me) left for college, and that left just me + brother + Papa Schwerd. Brother was working after school, Papa Schwerd was working - well, all the time. They made me an offer - we'd agree on a price, and they would pay me cash to run point on the housework. 💰 I took one look at the laundry pile. Walked straight to a local pizzeria, and got hired to manage their phones. ☎ To be EXTRA safe from housework, I then walked to the local awning shop, and got hired to manage their paperwork. 📎 𝘞𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘵 $1 / 𝘱𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴, 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘶𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘵𝘩, 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨! 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝗻𝗼𝘄? Well, I'm back from a 2 week whirlwind of travel, preceded by five intense months of client engagements. And I just made eye contact with my laundry pile, and wondered if it's still $1 / pound to outsource. 👀 🌟 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆?? Job hopping is never a bad sign by itself. It can actually be a great sign that your candidate is eager to find the best fit for them and won’t settle. If your organization is that fit, you’ll have a beautiful symbiotic relationship. Don’t skip a job hopper who has the qualities or experience you’re looking for, you may be selling your organization short. Then again, if a company wouldn’t hire someone because the candidate is eager to find the best fit rather than stay and drain the organizations resources by burning out on a job that doesn’t give the candidate life… well, that likely isn’t a good match anyway. 😉

A customer recently tried our Retention Index for 90 days, and the results were impressive. If they had used the assessment for hiring decisions, their turnover would have been reduced by 33%. Using this real-world data to make conservative projections, that means 10 fewer new hires for every 100 people hired. In terms of savings (based on a conservative estimate of new hire replacement costs), that customer would save $200,000 for every 100 employees hired. So, let's say you plan to hire 300-400 new employees for the rest of this year; your savings could range from $600,000 to $800,000—all achievable with just an 8-minute pre-hire assessment! Ready to make more data-driven, intelligent decisions this summer? Contact me—I’d love to help! I'm at 407 865 8908 or julia.c@employmenttechnologies.com

We have not pitched anyone yet, but our pitch deck starts with one simple question... "Have you been involved in the job market within the last 18 months?" Most of you will first think of the multiple people in your networks who have been impacted by a layoff, are struggling to find their first job or trying to transition out of the military. The other side is no walk in the park either. Jobs get posted for a day and already have 300 applications, with more on the way. Matching candidates is like trying to find a specific needle in a needle stack... painful. What's the answer? It's actually a series of small things that when put together in a single system becomes revolutionary. We are on a mission to help both sides of this equation, and will be releasing more details very soon. Follow our page to stay informed. #LifeWork #Trust #Clarity #Authenticity https://lnkd.in/e_6Qe2iM
