It can be done in various ways, such as volunteering, donating, or sharing one's skills and talents. I am an Advisor, a Brand Builder, a Marketer, a Generator of Revenue, a Producer of Profits, and a Provoker of Thoughts. I am an Enabler of Big Ideas and Ideal Experiences. (I'm also a massive cult brand enthusiast!)
Why are Univeristies the best at implementing robust alumni programs? Most nonprofits maintain donor relationship programs, but so few large industries maintain mutually beneficial relationships with former employees. Not doing so is a massive missed opportunity. IMHO, working for a company is the ultimate sign of buy in. Employees are essentially your best, most devoted followers. Their affinity towards you shouldn’t wane over time. Even if they are no longer employed by you, they can add immense value to you IF you figure out how to convince them you still value them.

🌟 Supporting Future Generations 🌟 I've always believed that true fulfillment lies in making a positive impact on others' lives and it brings me so much joy when I receive these updates from World Vision. Investing in the education and well-being of children not only transforms their lives but also enriches our communities and builds a brighter future. It's incredibly rewarding to witness the growth and achievements of children and young people, especially those that face barriers. Through sponsoring children, I've experienced firsthand the profound joy that comes from empowering others and fostering opportunities for them to thrive. It's not just about financial assistance; it's about nurturing potential, instilling hope, and creating a ripple effect of positivity that extends far beyond immediate benefits. I encourage everyone to explore ways to contribute to causes they're passionate about. Whether through education, healthcare, or community development, each act of philanthropy, big or small, makes a meaningful difference. Together, let's continue to spread the spirit of giving and make a lasting impact on our world. 🌍💙 #EducationForAll #healthcareforall #SponsorAChild #MakeADifference #CommunityImpact

Gen Z and Millennials are reshaping #activism and #engagement, making careers in #nonprofits increasingly attractive. At AAUW's NCCWSL 2023, Rylan Kepner, Associate Consultant, presented to young professionals (The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Washington, DC (YNPNdc)) and explored how to succeed in the nonprofit space. One pressing question arose: How do we make it work on a nonprofit salary? Strategies emerged: taking on additional work, being intentional with savings and debt, and leveraging benefits like health coverage and flexible work arrangements. While nonprofit salaries may not match the private sector, the strength of this sector lies in valuing human experience. Nonprofits can focus on professional development, employee satisfaction, and wellbeing to attract and retain young professionals for the long haul. #socialsector #salaries #nonprofit #nonprofitleadership #benefits #youngprofessionals #purposedriven

I have had the previledge of working in a variety of non-profit spaces for the last 7 years and volunteered even before I entering the workforce. I have become (in a sense) fascinated by this ubiquitous dynamic between racialized and non-racialized individuals. I recently went through the exact circumstances depicted in the image. It calls into the question the efficacy of our work if our environment replicates the same inequities and inequalities it is trying to address. This is at the center of my Thesis. How do we actualize our revolution? How does equity truly manifest? And what are its barriers (calling them out even if they challenge allyship)? I have seen a few stories shared here on why black and brown people are leaving non-profit spaces. I am curious to see who else relates to this image. I’d like to have an uncomfortable conversation.
