Members of Clayco's and Lamar Johnson Collaborative's sustainability team, Alana Spencer, Patricia Mayle, Yash Mehta, and Elaine Fitzgerald, recently attended the Chicago Committee on High Rise Buildings 2024 Scholarship Seminar, a fantastic event on carbon-neutral buildings. Clayco and LJC have signed onto commitments Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and AIA 2030, so our team enjoys learning and keeping on track with the latest trends in carbon neutrality.

Wow what a morning! When you spend years iterating, drawing, creating, meeting, and building and then this is the reception you receive from the public….your heart is FULL! Numerous families had overflowing baskets of materials to check out, generations were actively engaging in the History and Genealogy Kiosks, children were playing within the town full of books, and teens were checking out all the new tech. Thank you St. Louis County Library for engaging our team over the years to help you reach this major milestone of completing your “library renewed” projects and giving the public this amazing building with all it's services.
