We always have a choice: which version of two words with the same number of letters will you choose today? I choose joy, although one can have tears of joy 😊 #powerofchoice #growthmindset #growthanddevelopment #positivepsychology #reframing #neuroscience #growhappiness

It was such a privilege to spend time with fellow fellows at Windsor Castle this week. We were talking about common purpose… what drives, inspires, motivates us and our teams. My key takeaways: 💙 Cavalry is on a mission to change care for the better- this absolutely aligns with my purpose and I feel I’m in exactly the right place to make maximum impact. 💙 Mindfully sense-check that every activity in every department is actively contributing to that goal. 💙 Nourish yourself with things that energise your vocation - and show others the value in doing the same. 💙 Authentic purpose is sticky- it attracts other people with the same vocation. 💙 Gentle and happy urgency- my purpose without action doesn’t help anyone and the impact we can make as individuals is time-bound. Buzzing with energy and gratitude! Let’s go 😁

#The_Champagne_Bottle_Story From a young age, I've seen people in movies and after F1 races celebrating their victories by popping champagne. Inspired by this, I decided to buy a bottle of champagne for my 24th birthday to mark the occasion. However, my birthday last year didn't go as planned. My mental health took a hit due to work and personal issues, and I didn't feel like celebrating. I promised myself I would open the bottle when I achieved something significant in my life. Yet, each time I reached a personal or professional milestone, I found myself thinking, "It's not the right time. Let's save it for the next achievement." This cycle continued, and despite moving to three different cities since buying that bottle, it remains unopened. Each time I reach a new goal, I'm motivated to wait for the next one. I recently celebrated my 25th birthday, and that champagne bottle is still with me. This journey has taught me an important lesson: it's not just about waiting for the perfect moment to celebrate, but also about recognizing and appreciating the progress along the way. I’m still holding onto that bottle of champagne, but now I’m also learning to celebrate the small victories and cherish every step of my journey. Stay motivated and cheers 🍷 #Motivation #Inspiration #PersonalGrowth #Success #MentalHealth #Mindset #Goals #Achievement #SelfImprovement #StayPositive #LifeLessons #Celebrate #KeepGoing #SuccessStory #GrowthMindset #vision

I've come to appreciate the mantra: "Growth happens in the uncomfortable." With each passing year, it's easy to slip into the mindset of self-imposed limitations, uttering phrases like, "My time for that has passed," or "I'm too old for this now." Yet, I challenge myself to see each shift in month or season as a fresh opportunity to redefine my boundaries. As May 1st approaches, I'm reminded of the power in pushing beyond comfort zones. It's a chance to embrace new challenges and opportunities for personal growth. Let's embark on this journey of growth- So, I ask you: What's one thing you will do to challenge yourself this coming month? together.

Lessons from my daughter: Do the things - ->that are scary ->that are fun ->that are adventurous ->that are spontaneous ->that bring you meaning and joy! She is fierce, determined and lives a life of passion, service to others and rarely does she say no to opportunity!! LIFE HAS NO LIMITATIONS, EXCEPT THE ONES YOU MAKE. -Les Brown

Our words hold immense power. With them, we can influence minds, including our own. Shelle Rose Charvet's book, "Words That Change Minds: The 14 Patterns for Mastering the Language of Influence," is a guide to mastering the art of effective communication. The book offers practical applications for various contexts, such as sales, marketing, negotiation, teaching, conflict resolution, and teamwork. It highlights the importance of building rapport and credibility while avoiding unintentional missteps. #words #influence
