GO2 Dentagenie have made the move to using post-consumer recycled plastic in our products...that's EARTH LOVIN'. A big change by a small company doing our bit for Mama Earth 💚 What is it? PCR is plastic that has been made into a product, used, thrown away, collected, cleaned, reprocessed and remade into something new. That’s recycling in its truest form and removes unnecessary landfill. Benefits of PCR plastic: ✅ Energy Savings: According to the EPA, manufacturing recycled plastics require 66% less energy than producing virgin plastic, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions. ✅ Increased Recycling Rates: Australia has a national packaging target of 70% recycling rate by 2025 ✅ Using GO2 Dentagenie range of “Earth Lovin” products you will help Australia achieve these important environmental goals. #earthlovin #allsmiles #oralhealth #go2dentagenie #dentist #dentalclinics

How These Medical Scrubs Fight Microplastic Pollution A solution is emerging to address the issue of polluting the environment with microplastics from the washing of healthcare workers' scrubs. Soon, a growing number of America's 20 million healthcare workers will have access to methods that allow them to wash their scrubs without causing long-lasting harm to the environment. This development is aimed at reducing the presence of microplastics, which have the potential to persist indefinitely and pose various ecological risks. With this alternative approach, healthcare workers can contribute to environmental sustainability while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. #PATHnews - Microplastics have been found in every sample of placental tissue tested this year, including in human arteries, where plastics correlated with an increased risk of heart attacks and strokes. One solution the article proposes is to eliminate single-use plastic bottled water and increase reuse. #refillit - The Guardian

Recycler of segregated rigid plastic waste. 100% of accepted plastic is processed by us for future plastic manufacturing
It's many years (maybe decades) since I've accessed a Plimsoll report. I'm not sure that I can even recall why I did. But it seems that we have now ended up on their mailing list somehow or other. But this e-mail has rather confused me. Firstly can anyone explain what the "Plastic Recycling Home Care Providers industry" is? 🤣 (typo anyone? 🤔) Secondly, as I regularly state, we are quite possibly the smallest plastic recycler in the UK, so why am I being told that Aylesbury Granulation has retained its position in their September Performance Report of the UK's largest companies? May it be that Plimsoll Publishing Limited have lost their way a tad? Or are we actually big, and I never knew it? #marketintelligence #industryreport #homecareprovider #plasticrecycling

Did you know that healthcare contributes to about 9% to 10% of total environmental waste in the United States? It's a significant figure that demands our attention. We believe in not just providing exceptional care but also in minimizing our environmental footprint. Our commitment to both patient well-being and the planet led us to embrace innovation and say goodbye to disposable diapers. The environmental impact of healthcare waste is substantial. From disposable diapers to single-use medical supplies, the healthcare industry has traditionally generated a significant amount of waste. This waste contributes to landfills, pollution, and resource depletion. It's time for change. We are proud to introduce Care Bidet, a transformative health technology that's making a real difference. By automatically detecting and managing bodily waste, Care Bidet eliminates the need for disposable diapers. It ensures cleanliness, comfort, and dignity for patients while drastically reducing waste. With Care Bidet, we're embracing sustainable practices that benefit everyone.
