For me it’s always been who I work with, not what I work on, that really matters. Over the last 7 years I’ve had the honor of working with team members at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association who in addition to being excellent in their fields also lead with heart, passion, kindness and integrity. I want to thank several members of my former HR leadership team including April Dedic, Gina Flaig, J.P. Cratty, LaTonya Seanior-Smith, Laura Mack Lorenz, Leyla Kokmen, Lindsay Hammer, SPHR, CPC, Matt Sullivan, Stephanie Gregory, SPHR and Vincent Scannell. I learned so much from each of you and appreciate the genuineness your brought to our work. While I’m incredibly proud of everything we accomplished together, I’m most grateful for the relationships we forged during the most rewarding and challenging years of my career. Thank you for choosing to be in it together with me. It means more than I can truly express. And to J.P. Cratty and Stephanie Gregory, SPHR specifically, thank you for taking the leap to move with me from HR to Workplace Experience to lead a time defined, milestone project on behalf of the organization. I appreciate the trust you put in me and yourself, and for executing an employee engagement and change management strategy beyond everyone’s expectations. And finally, thank you Jennifer Vachon for the partnership we shared. When you offered me the opportunity to lead HR in 2018, I never could have imagined the adventure we’d have in the years to come, and as I leave BCBSA this month I do so with a grateful heart.

As you know, the feeling is mutual. I learned so much from you, especially on what it means to put the "human" in Human Resources. Thank you for your authentic leadership, your commitment to making a difference one conversation at a time, and for always having my back through thick and thin. We talked a lot about the "how" and "what", and you have more of both than anyone I've ever worked with. Thanks for everything.
You have been on my mind today, and to then see your post here solidifies the connection we have in our hearts. Kelly, you have been pivotal in my career and you will always be a special person in my life. You see people and showed me by example so many lessons. I’ll miss you, but I know there’s more chapters to be beautifully written.
Thank you for your unwavering support and guidance! I can't thank you enough for all the wisdom and encouragement you've shared with me. Your impact on my career and the people around you has been immeasurable. I don't know what the future holds but what I know to be true is that you'll continue to inspire and excel in everything you do. You are missed!
