Happy birthday Kubernetes! WG Serving got highlighted in "the future of Kubernetes" section! "The new Serving Working Group is one example of how the community is organizing to address these workloads' needs. It's likely that the next few years will see improvements to Kubernetes' ability to manage various types of hardware, and its ability to manage the scheduling of large batch-style workloads which are run across hardware in chunks." For those of you who don't know, Hashi recently pivoted to the BUSL license, as they feel certain actors in the community were exploiting the Open Source model. (emphasis that both both Hashi and the community have benefited greatly under the open source model - just look at the 1,700+ contributors writing code on Hashi tech, for free) We already have a Fork of Terraform, https://opentf.org/, and I have a feeling this is just getting started. I don't think I'm being hyperbolic when I say that this will have a pretty large ripple in the IAC community, with SRE/DevOps teams feeling the brunt of it. I can't wait to debug my first Hybrid OpenTF + HashiCorp setup 😂 😨 😭
