#Melbourne TALiNT Partners events - Amazing, amazing, amazing - Part 2, of 2 Part Post Series... What an exhilarating week it was in Melbourne! I had the privilege of hosting and organising 2 phenomenal events, including the TALiNT Partners Leadership Summit on June 20th. The energy, insights, and camaraderie were simply unmatched. A standout moment was our fireside chat with the incredible Melissa Benson, a #Disabled Speaker and Advocate. Melissa humorously debunked the misconception that she doesn't understand things visually. She pointed out that with just a bit of detail, she can form a vivid picture in her mind, showcasing her remarkable ability to perceive the world in her unique way. Her insights were both enlightening and inspiring, THANK YOU. The focus of most C-suite discussions was razor-sharp, addressing the pressing challenges we face today, and ongoing: 💡 Navigating economic uncertainty remains the top priority. 💡 Talent initiatives and the impacts and opportunities of AI are pivotal. 💡 There's a concerted effort to boost workforce productivity. 💡 Increased cost/FTE pressure is a significant concern. From our panel discussions, several key points stood out: 🔎 Skills-Based Hiring: Embracing skills-based hiring is transformative, but it shouldn't overshadow cultural fit and potential for sustainable growth. A holistic approach leads to more successful hires, longer tenure and business/profitability increases. 🔎 Contingent Workforce Management: Integrating contingent workers brings flexibility and specialised skills, but fostering a cohesive culture and effective communication is vital for success. 🔎 Tech & Candidate Experience: While technology can significantly enhance the #CX, there's a risk of depersonalisation. Balancing tech with the human touch is crucial to building trust and rapport. 🔎 Predictive Analytics in Employee Retention: Predictive analytics offers valuable insights, but we must be wary of biases in the data. Human judgment and qualitative factors are essential in making informed decisions. 🔎 AI in Skills Development: AI can identify skills gaps and provide personalised learning opportunities, but it can't replace the importance of human interaction and mentorship. These discussions underscored the importance of balancing technology with human judgment and maintaining a focus on the candidate and employee experience. The insights gained will undoubtedly shape our strategies moving forward. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and shared their expertise, including our partners Avature, Allegis Global Solutions, Applyflow, Deel, Expert360, Xeople. The entire rooms' contributions were invaluable as we navigate these complex challenges together. Looking forward to our continued collaborations and the exciting opportunities ahead! #LeadershipSummit #TalentManagement #AI #SkillsBasedHiring #ContingentWorkforce #EconomicUncertainty #WorkforceProductivity #Innovation #Collaboration

The feedback so far had been overwhelmingly positive, and from this morning's call with the whole team, the excitement from this one is still very evident from you both. Was a pleasure being involved Kris Clelland and well done Sam for running everything! Some extremely intelligent speakers (especially those dressed in red of course) - I had 8 pages of notes by the end of it. In seriousness thank you for the connections and time put into the day.
