If you can substitute “advocate” for “advocate for,” you should do so: “I advocate for higher pay for teachers” becomes “I advocate higher pay for teachers.”

Every parent puts lot of effort and does lot of research while naming their child. Especially if it's first child. It's sad, the child has to renounce part of the given name and dispense with family name (last name) for a career in electrol politics? What's the moral of the story? Do more research to avoid unintended outcomes of naming a child. (https://lnkd.in/gpqZzGw9)
