And finally she’s finished…… Have to hand it to my Matilda and all those teenagers who finally finished their GCSE’s Friday She worked so hard, there seems more pressure on this generation these days. This picture tells the story, while I’m working she would come into our office and study and I found her asleep a couple of times. The pressure builds and maybe it’s to much at times, but she’s handled it well, worked hard and we will be proud whatever the outcome. Now she can go and enjoy herself a little, a part-time summer job maybe. I did ask her what’s next, a-levels, college etc….Matilda’s anwser………any course that doesn’t have an exam at the end…😂🤔 Hayley-ann McMahon
Well done Matilda! Definitely time to have a little break over summer and recharge for the next chapter :-)
I’m with you Kris. They definitely have more pressure now. Our daughter finished on Monday and we’ve given her some time to chill and unwind (then she’s back to training 6 days a week 😬)
I hear you. After finishing GCSEs yesterday, our 16 year old slept for 14 hours last night. And I think she may do the same tonight! May they all now recover. And enjoy whatever post-exam party/prom they have planned.
Bless her. Well done Matilda x
Well done Matilda. 🤞 Your results!
Great work Matilda!

1moWell done Matilda!!! 👏🏻 I do however agree with her that an exam at the end isn’t for everyone! I chose my degree specifically because it was mainly assessed through continuous assessment rather than everything hingeing on the big day. I studied French and Italian and so continuous assessment was the best way of showing whether you did or didn’t have a grasp for the language and not via one big test at the end! I mean, let’s be honest, that’s how it works in the real world…
