Having a 27001 certificate doesn't necessarily mean you are 'more secure' than a company who hasn't certified. It simply means you are managing information security risk to a level which is deemed sufficient by a certification body. Take this in to consideration when you're completing supplier due diligence and the only question you ask is 'are you 27001 certified?' If you're not sure what questions you should ask as part of your supplier due diligence process, drop me a PM and I'll see if I can give you some pointers.

It’s been a busy old week here Vorago Security. Multiple internal audits for existing clients, gap analysis calls with new clients and old clients coming back to us for additional support. All topped of with an assessment visit by the team at Approachable Certification Ltd . I’m glad to say I’m looking forward to a slightly extended weekend, but not so much the 7 hour drive up to Loch Ness tomorrow. May Is fast approaching. 2 new clients taking their first steps through #27001 certification, existing clients with assessment visits and another half term for the kids. It’s Monday, and lets be honest, no one wants to talk shop until atleast Wednesday. I’m still reminiscing about the weekend, the ups and downs(literally) of a day out mountain biking through Dalby Forest. Hopes your weekend was eventful too, but not too eventful I hope.
