Here are some key insights from our analysis: 🛏️ Room Sizes: Most hotels fall into the small (≤20 rooms) or medium (21–40 rooms) categories This suggests a market opportunity for products tailored to smaller establishments. 👔 Purchase Decision Makers: General Managers and Owners are the primary decision-makers Marketing efforts should target these key individuals. 🛍️ Buying Frequency: Hotels typically purchase linens every 2–3 months Towels are replaced slightly more frequently. 🧼 Popular Products: Shampoo, soap, and basic linens are the most commonly purchased items There's potential for expanding into other toiletry products. 📦 Packaging Preferences: Individual bottles are still popular, but there's growing interest in refillable dispensers. # Enhancing Process Optimization and Quality Assurance At Schneider Electric, efforts are being made to enhance processes for improving product damage assessment and management. The objective is to implement clear protocols for evaluating and addressing product damage at various stages, including shipping, handling, packaging, and inspection. At the Athens Plant, under the guidance of Joshua Jones, the team is dedicated to refining approaches for evaluating and addressing product damage from shipping and handling to packaging and inspection. The goal is to develop and implement effective protocols to enhance operational efficiency and reduce product damage. Data played a crucial role in these improvements. By meticulously analyzing data related to product damage, patterns can be identified, problem areas pinpointed, and targeted strategies developed for mitigation. Accurate data allows for the measurement of intervention effectiveness and informed decision-making that drives continuous improvement. As a Quality Engineer Intern, I had the opportunity to contribute to this initiative.
