Chief Executive Officer, Performance Physical Therapy; Founder, Performance Executive Coaching, LLC Offering Coaching Services Focused on Business Structure, Profit and Leadership in Private Practice Physical Therapy
"Wake Up Wednesday"! So many physical therapy practice owners tell me that they have "great culture" in their businesses, and share how hard they have worked to build that culture. But they then tell me they have a huge problem in hiring enough staff to not just make a profit, but, at times, to just keep the practice going. My question to them......."If you have such great culture, why don't you have a line of therapists at the door wanting to work for you?" Reach out to me if this describes you and the challenges in staffing your physical therapy practice! #physicaltherapy #privatepractice #hiring #executivecoaching

Most of the time we are blessed by good health, and find ourselves able to enjoy life and do all the things we love to do. We are able to easily work at our job, make time for family and responsibilities, and have some great times with friends too. Occasionally, though, we may find ourselves suffering from a chronic ailment, physical disability or pain that stops us in our tracks. When we experience a deterioration in our health that prevents us from easily navigating our everyday world, we have to seek professional help. If you are facing health issues related to your physical function and ability to move, or are experiencing high levels of pain due to physical issues, you should set up a consultation with a physical therapist (PT). These individuals have years of professional training, usually in the form of both an undergraduate and advanced degree. During your appointment at the local PT center, your physical therapist will do a detailed intake and exam and be able to assess and diagnose what is going on with you. https://lnkd.in/gW3k9cQC #healthcare #healthandwellness #healthandwellbeing #physicaltherapy #physicaltherapists #physicalhealth #chronicconditions #healthcareprofessionals #healthcareproviders #healthcaretechnology #mobility

If you're a physical therapist, make sure you can answer this question... Your boss comes up to you and asks: "What are your goals? What are your aspirations? What excites you? What are you working towards? Tony Maritato asks young therapists these questions often and it's not uncommon that they can't verbalize it -- they might know it, but they have a hard time communicating it Spend time thinking about these answers -- your boss can most likely help you achieve these goals and desires! #physicaltherapy #healthcare #healthcaretechnology #occupationaltherapy
