Profit Focused Just because your business is earning revenue, doesn't mean it's profitable. For example, you could be making $100k in revenue per month but if you spend a $100k in expenses, you don't make ANYTHING. That is why a dispatchers job is not just to book loads but to focus on booking loads that are profitable. Our dispatchers are focused on your bottom line. So, we won't just book a load to keep you rolling. We will be looking for the best loads that will actually help you turn a profit. That way you can rest assured that when you move the truck, you're actually making money. Athos Logistics & Dispatcher LLC. Get to know your broker ⬇️ Hi- I’m Kelly 👋 Like most people Freight was definitely not apart of my original life plans but I can't imagine not working in this industry. I truly feel grateful to have a job I love. 🚚 My biggest motivator is helping people. I love taking the time to fully understand a customers needs/motivators 🚚 I pride myself in timely and transparent communication. 📦 What I love most about logistics is the opportunity to constantly problem solve and think outside the box. There is no blanket solution that works great for everyone. 📦I am definitely not going to claim to be an expert as I know there is always something new to learn. ✈️ Outside of logistics I try to spend as much time outside as possible with the goal of 1hr minimum a day. I love doing anything creative and spend most of my free time painting or working on a new project. In need of a new broker? Let's chat. #logistics #freight #broker #freightbroker

US/Mexico 🇺🇸🇲🇽Cross Border Freight Transportation | Rail Intermodal | Domestic Truckload Transportation | Landstar Independent Agent
Thinking 10 Steps Ahead My main contact was out of the office this week attending a business convention for the company he works for. I think I've already moved into position #1 as their favored transportation provider, because I've moved a sh*t ton of their loads, and consistently moving a lot each week. These loads have not all been profitable and some have been lanes I am not used to moving or quoting, but those have been a learning experience for future opportunity. When I heard that my main contact was at a business convention I got to thinking, they are looking to expand their business, which is probably going up open up more lanes and opportunities. Can't help but think this should provide my agency with many more opportunities, because I have been battling my ass off and running their freight at both wins and losses. The main thing is I am reliable and they know they can count on me to get the job done. Keep your eyes and ears open, and stay ten steps ahead of everyone else, and it should pay off at some point. Play to win. #freight #freightbrokers #logistics #supplychain #trucking

Whether you’re a company driver or owner-operator, choosing the right carrier to work for will go a long way toward determining your future success. And in an industry as diverse as trucking, there is no shortage of options to choose from. 1. Research the fleet as closely as they research you Make sure the company you are applying to has values that line up with yours. Also reach out to current drivers of the fleet you’re considering. 2. Trust your eyes Consider whether a company is running newer equipment, and ask how they service it. Do they have dedicated maintenance professionals? How does the office look? Is the yard secure? 3. Think about the future as well as the present Driver turnover in the trucking industry is high, and attractive signing bonuses contribute to the problem. While frequent job changes can raise red flags with recruiters, there are sometimes legitimate reasons behind the moves. Make sure that the opportunity you take will sustain you in your future. #truck #truckers #driver #truckinsurance

When you do weights and research for trucking companies, we usually are the last ones that gets recognized. But know this, your job means something! Even though there may not be many ways to move up in a position such as this, know that we find the money that is owed to us whether it be wrong classifications, wrong weights in addition to identifying truck loads when we are an LTL company. It makes sense that we all want work that's meaningful. We want to feel that our jobs make a difference to other people and that we are contributing to the greater good. Just know that you are essential.
