Since I shared this blog last week, I had several people ask "What is the infrastructure cost for each developer's environment?". Their obvious concern was how would this impact their budgets if they opened this up to 100s or 1000s of their developers. Estimated cost to run this is $5-9/month in AWS costs. If you open this up to 100 developers who will run this 24x7, it will set you back $500-$900 per month in infrastructure costs. Gen AI can be transformative for your business. Do not be left behind. Allow your developers to efficiently experiment with 100s of use cases for Generative AI
Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍁 Exciting news for all tech enthusiasts! #AWSreInvent2023 is just around the corner, and our team is thrilled to showcase some really cool use cases with #RafayKubernetesManager and #EnvironmentManager. Infrastructure to power GenAI!
The rise of generative AI is transforming industries, but the infrastructure powering it has been years in the making. At AWS, we’ve been building data centers for more than 15 years and GPU-based servers for more than 12 years, and we continue to optimize our infrastructure to support generative AI at scale. Today, we're sharing more about the new innovations we’re delivering to help customers build and scale ML applications.

A powerful article in how the scale of Amazon continues to be used for good. In this case bringing together knowledge, resources, stability and a secure supply chain to support the rise of generative AI for more efficient cloud services for customers. A subtle reminder that Amazon has been using AI and ML for more than 25 years and through services of AWS has focused on bringing that knowledge to customers by putting ML into the hands of developers and data scientists everywhere. The fun part for me is the work that is supported by the vast hardware infrastructure and custom AI chips. My favorite quote from Prasad in this article, “There is no compression algorithm for experience and since we’ve been building large-scale data centers for more than 15 years and GPU-based (graphics processing units) servers for more than 12 years, we have a massive existing footprint of AI infrastructure.” Cheers to my network of Hardware Engineers, Commodity Managers, Logistics, Transportation and Warehousing roles, Manufacturing and Data Center Techs plus a vast range of software, hardware and physical security teams (+, +, +…)! Special recognition to my team of Technicians, Systems Support Engineers and Security for the work on behalf of Amazon to keep the AI infrastructure in use for longer by providing repair, testing and refurbishment services.

Dr. Swami Sivasubramanian, Vice President of Data and AI at AWS referencing some of the great, breakthrough work, that our HG Insights product team is doing in identifying organizations that are ready to undertake AI initiatives. HG Insights determines organizations AI readiness by looking at the size and make up of their data science team, their software stack, whether their infrastructure can handle the processing necessary for GenAI, and whether they are showing intent for hundreds of different AI signals we are tracking. https://lnkd.in/ghUKzYP6
