Some interesting stats (and a quote) I came across today: In a July survey, the consumer finance company Bankrate found that 47% of U.S. adults had at least one unspent gift card or voucher with an average value of $187. That was a really long survey. Google Maps for Flutter is good, but needs some love. 1. There's no good "grouping" for markers that are close together. 2. Drawing too many polygons kills the map. Interestingly enough, it's MUCH faster to draw the polygons on tiles for the Tile provider. 3. Custom Markers are hard to generate on-the-fly. You have to render a widget and convert it to IconData. It's be nice if there was lib for this or part of the Google Maps lib. 4. No KML support. That's brutal for me.
