What's New in Workday 2023R2: Generate Document for Compensation I remember there was my client requirement to generate Mid-Year Equity documents as part of Request Compensation Change BP, I used review document step to trigger document to Manager and EE which just prints the data from the transaction. I thought if Workday brings generate document to comp transactions that could be more helpful that users can edit any changes in document. I am happy that in Workday 2023R2 makes it easier to generate documents as part of compensation processes. You can now include the Generate Document step in compensation business processes. Workday Bite No4: Tenant Clean Up – Keeping everything nice and tidy Operating Workday requires constant changes and improvements in workflows, either driven by the two yearly updates offering new functionality or personnel who pushes Workday to its limit. This usually involves creating calc fields and reports condensed on dashboards and worklets. To keep track of such changes on a corporate level Workday already offers the so called Report Administrator dashboard. This dashboard offers a variety of pre-delivered reports to keep track of your reporting landscape, but of course you can enrich this dashboard even further. Imagine a report that lists all custom reports with their respective report tags, last run date, the number of places used, where they are enabled for dashboards and worklets and all areas where they are used, topped with analytical indicators. And while you are at it, just do the same for calc field usage. And from there you can go of course even further, by exporting the report to Workday Worksheets and turn it into a pivot table for improved visualization.
