Here we grow again - Kognitiv's got a new employee! 🚨 Join the rest of the #koggers in welcoming Priyal (Pri) Patel to the Kog team! Priya has been using Workday for about 6 years now! She started as an intern and then moved into an HCM and Payroll consulting role, earning her WD HCM certification. For the past 2 years, she has been working client-side on payroll processing. Fun fact: as a kid, Priya always wanted to be an astronaut, but somehow ended up in payroll... It's basically the same thing, right? 🚀💸 In her free time, Priya loves to paint, play the piano and guitar, and go cafe hopping with her friends in Toronto. She was born and raised about an hour away from Toronto in a town called Brampton. Currently, she is gearing up for an adventure, relocating to the quaint little town of Colgan. Exciting times ahead! 🎨🎶☕🏡

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 do you get asked the most often? Since joining #reddit this past summer and becoming an active participant in the r/Workday subreddit, I've had one question in particular asked more than before. It's, "𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘥𝘢𝘺?", or some version of the same. I don't actually know that much! On my first day as employee number 126 at Kognitiv Inc. in 2021, I may have brought 6+ years of Workday experience with me into my new role. Within a few weeks, however, it became evident I'd found where the smartest smarties were hiding. My eyes were opened wide 😳 at the wealth of knowledge that my newest colleagues possessed. But on the "outside", I come across as knowing a lot. I'm what you call a #WorkdayGeneralist. My years spent in Payroll and Human Resources led me to Workday and I like knowing a little about a lot of areas. It has proven effective with clients in tough situations that just need someone to fix a variety of issues in a timely manner. Other Workday users are eager to learn how to do things and I'm eager to share, so I spend time on Reddit or Community or Facebook and help them. And therefore get asked that question.
