AHDB - Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board release the latest Fungicide dose response curves for cereals 💥 New fungicide registrations have been released onto the market this year: Vimoy (Iblon - Bayer | Crop Science) & Miravis Plus (Apepidyn/pydiflumetofen - Syngenta). 📉 The #AHDB Fungicide performance curves allow growers and advisors to better understand how products perform in the field prior to commercial availability (e.g. Adepidyn been in AHDB trials since 2019). 🌾 The curves build upon a reliable, evidence-based dataset on how these actives perform against their peers in the field across growing seasons and climatic conditions (wet years, dry years etc.). Brazil stands out in the world for being one of the largest producers and consumers of common beans and cowpeas. However, the cultivation of this agricultural species is exposed to competition with weeds for water, light and nutrients. One of the management methods for weed control is the use of pre-emergent herbicides. Although pre-emergence herbicides are beneficial in controlling weeds, it is important to know the dynamics of these products in the soil, especially their residual effect.
