Since launching the Klook Workcation program two years ago, we've empowered Klookers to travel while connecting with overseas colleagues. Clay masters in the making in the Klookiverse! Our #Bangkok team 'got their hands dirty' by molding clay pieces inspired by their furry kids (read: pets). 🐾 Last year, they dabbled in ceramic painting, experimenting with colors and designs for fun. This time, with 250g of clay and guidance from an instructor, they pushed their artistic boundaries even further. Each team member crafted unique, bespoke clay pieces, recharging their creative juices and letting their minds roam free after a week of bustle. Meet Gloria Yang, Associate Manager of Financial Reporting from our Shenzhen team. We asked her what fresh grads should consider when choosing a #career path. "Start by pinpointing your passions and strengths to identify the direction you want to take. Look at what the market needs and which industries have growth potential. For example, Klook has been a strong player in the travel and experiences industry and offers ample opportunities for career advancement. Finally, always be open to learning, stay positive, and maintain a strong work ethic." Her tips on landing an offer with Klook? 👩💻 "Show your curiosity and willingness to take on new challenges. Spreading joy to the local community and having fun along the way—that's how our #Vietnam team spent their offsite charity trip in Ben Tre, 85 kilometers southwest of Ho Chi Minh City! 🌼 Their first stop was Duc Quang House, home to over 100 orphans. The team split into two groups: one group engaged in coloring activities with the children, while the other assisted with preparing lunch. “To create a meaningful team-building experience in the lead-up to Klook's 10th birthday, we decided to do something special for the local community, especially kids in need. The experience was overwhelming and emotional for the whole team, as 'giving' is true happiness to us," shared our General Manager of Klook Vietnam, Hoang Nguyen Huy. “When collecting votes from the team, the majority showed interest in this shelter. Salute to my colleagues for their generous donations and active participation in bringing joy to the children at Duc Quang Orphan House," expressed the organizer Mai Nguyen, Senior Associate, HR Generalist. Klookers ended the day with team water games at Lan Vuong Ecopark, surrounded by lush green coconut groves. It captures the struggles of building an itinerary where one person leads the planning and the others throw endless questions and seek clarifications. “We’re very happy with how our newest ad on Klook Hotels was received by Filipinos! We wanted a fun approach to introducing Klook’s entry into hotels, highlighting true-to-life struggles travel planners go through when planning trips and choosing hotels.
