Scully Scouting Inc. ⚾️ Tyler Soderstrom of the Oakland Athletics is a potential Superstar in Major League Baseball, but he has to get the hell out of Oakland. Soderstrom, a former 1st round pick out of High School in 2020, has incredible pop for a young guy at just 22 years old especially when he goes middle-oppo. Soderstrom needs to get around veteran hitters to start to learn how to hit Major League pitching more consistently; moreover, learn how to let the game come to him more naturally on a daily basis. Soderstrom is 1 for 28 on balls outside the zone, as soon as he learns to let the game come to him more he is going to burst on to the National scene. We would love to see Tyler Soderstrom be traded to the Houston Astros to bring a much needed young talent to the roster as well as bring a new life that has been missing from the First Base position since Yuli Gurriel left the team following the 2022 World Series Championship run.
