In IB education, we often talk about students being reflective and lifelong learners. I strongly feel that these attributes can also help teachers to grow in their classroom practices and pedagogy. Reflection as discussed, need not be an isolated process but include the important stakeholders of education such as the students, parents and school mentors. According to Jon Davison, we can break it down to quantify the impact and collect evidence of progress through, setting small targets, reflection, identifying achievement and areas of improvement. Further, Teaching skills, Professional characteristics and Classroom Climate contribute directly to Pupil Progress (McBer, 2000), which is our unanimous goal. Most importantly it is an ongoing process and a lifelong practice. #teacherreflection #reflection

Setting classroom expectations is one of the most important things to do after introducing yourself to a new class of students.
