Sneak Peek Alert! 🌟 I'm currently putting the finishing touches on my presentation "A coffee to go for a more sustainable learning (or should we say transfer) culture" for the upcoming Kirkpatrick Summit organized by Kirkpatrick Partners, LLC Pretty much all companies I work with tell me that transfer (application of learning back in the workplace) is expected and important to them. But are these transfer expectations matched by concrete actions? We know from signal theory that organizations often say one thing and do – or signal with their actions – quite another (whether consciously or unconsciously). The latter is clearly more credible. So, what do we really do about transfer? And what do we signal through our actions? That's exactly what we will explore in my session on June 5th. We will take a critical look at various signals that, intentionally or not, indicate to anyone involved in company training whether transfer is a nice-sounding buzzword or a clear expectation. Want a front-row seat and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of learning and performance evaluation. Join me in Dulles, VA, this June 4-6. Providing analysis, advice & application on the constructive use of emotion in the people, processes and place of work
💡How do I start evaluating my programmes to levels 3 and 4? In our latest webinar, Peter Brown PhD MCIPD discusses the 2 ‘must-haves’ that you need to be clear on before you attempt to reach the lofty level 3 and 4 heights of Kirkpatrick Partners, LLC evaluation model. Stakeholder expectations and strategic intent are essential to thorough, and well-rounded learning evaluation. You need to get clear on: 1) What do the people investing in & sponsoring your programme want from it? 2) What your organisation and learners should gain from your programme? You need clarity on both of those to properly evaluate the learning impact. 👇 Ready to unlock L&D strategic excellence? This week, our European Field Training Team met in London to participate in a fantastic workshop facilitated by Craig McHugh, founder of Living Your Learning. Over 2 days, Craig skillfully guided us through a comprehensive journey of learning theory, the creation and evaluation of learning opportunities, as well as a fascinating behavior and communication session. I want to say a big thank you to Timo Küstner, Ellen De Moor, Carolin Welker, Stephanie Bachinger-Lederle, Charles Gosling, Heidi Blay and our guest Julia El Naggar for their enthusiasm and engagement. I appreciate you giving up time at home with your families and making this commitment to continuous learning. Special thanks to Craig for his time, expertise, and for inspiring us all to uphold the values and standards of the learning profession. We look forward to implementing the strategies and knowledge gained in our daily work, as that is where the real learning occurs! #ProfessionalDevelopment #FieldTraining #LearningProfessionals #Leadership #Nevro #LivingYourLearning
