Yesterday was an incredible day spent with the dynamic team at Williams and White Equipment! Justin Williams, PEng. answered my call out for a board or executive team to take out into the wilderness for the day to work on self-discovery, communication, resilience, and alignment of mission, vision, and values, as part of my doctoral research. Using the power of appreciative inquiry, we embraced fun challenges, became more aligned with the company's mission, vision, and values, learned about ourselves and our communication skills. We also explored the importance of how we communicate feedback, discovered how to recognize stress in ourselves and others, and acquired valuable techniques to reduce stress. The result? A team armed with actionable steps to nurture a culture built on empathy, open communication, innovation, fun, entrepreneurship, excellence, growth, quality, integrity, collaboration, and safety. It's inspiring to witness this commitment to growth and unity. Here's to Williams and White's continued success! #TeamBuilding #MissionVisionValues #Growth #Resilience #Communication #CultureBuilding #WilliamsandWhite

As part of Knight Agency's EOS - Entrepreneurial Operating System process, Ross Gibbs told us that our values should be what Knight team members already 'reek of'. I think we captured the essence of the team: - We are a culture of WE. - We care more. - We own it. - We do the right thing, even when no one is looking. - We have grit. Knight Agency supports clients in connecting the organization's principles (values) to individual's personal experiences and beliefs. We suggest that behaviors - everyday actions - are more important than values that are just words on a wall. I believe resonance with company values and everyday behaviors lead to performance.
