Sunday Scaries: Thoughts from a chronic worker: 💖 Tomorrow is gonna come either way. You're free to spend the day as you want, but worrying doesn't change the future. 💖 Work in a way that fulfills you. Getting stuff done in service to your success is different than working out of dread. 💖 Balancing isn't an act of stillness. As change happens, give yourself permission to ebb, flow and adjust as needed. Here's a little self-check in I like: ✨ What does my dream life look like today and in 10 years? ✨ What do I want for my career, personal life and passions? ✨ What can I try today that builds a path to my dream tomorrow? If you've got Sunday Scaries, or suggestions for remedies, do tell! Otherwise, just go enjoy the day! Cheers, y'all!
Needed. This. today!
Kim Minnick I feel like the Sunday scaries will exist for me even though I am doing the work I love the most right now in coaching and fractional support. Right now its a new workshop I am delivering on Tuesday, next week it will be a new client who I don't know yet and haven't figured out their story. I feel like for me that Sunday feeling is the loss of time with my family, the worry of doing a good enough job at something that is challenging every day. But I also have anxiety, real anxiety as constant, so this might just be me, period :)
Kim, I love how you frame the concept of balance and adjustment. How does StartupExperts support its team in maintaining this balance?
I definitely had the Sunday sads today about work tomorrow! Thanks for sharing your tips & tricks.

1wKim Minnick These are some of the same questions I ask all of my Fractional Coaching clients- what do you want your life to look like? How can you work backwards into that?
