Week 3. I do it my way Celebrating my 32nd birthday today and symbolically publish the 3rd episode of my video-diary, covering the journey of getting back to what I love and organizing BlockShow in five months. There are just a few days left before the Christmas holidays, so we urgently need to decide between Singapore and Hong Kong, finalise the venue and start sales. So what would you choose in this situation: accept the offer from the venue as is, or lose time, but negotiate for better contract conditions? I keep hearing from everyone: 'Times have changed, Addy”, “It's not 2017”, “You will do yet another conference”. But no one specifies what has changed or what to do. The truth is, there are always more 'NOs' than 'YESes' when starting something new. So I am moving forward and do it my way: we are taking the risk and pushing for better contract conditions with the venue. Our team will deliver the major conference of 2024 in Asia. Believe me.
