From Academic Achievement to Entrepreneurial Insight During my master's thesis, I created an algorithm with a 90% accuracy rate in predicting Kickstarter campaign outcomes. My university advisor encouraged me to transform this academic project into a startup venture with two co-founders. Our data-driven approach showed great promise but overlooked a crucial element: customer feedback. Without it, we couldn't tailor our product to market needs, leading to our eventual failure. This experience was a humbling reminder that successful innovation isn't just about technology; it's about understanding and responding to customer needs. This journey has been a powerful lesson in the importance of adaptability and the value of listening to your market. I'm excited to apply these insights to future projects and continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible. 2 days ago marked my last course of my entire prolonged master program and I trully honored to be part of the Turning Technology into Business course where we design the commercialization strategy for a patent. It was a hell of a lecture where we put a lot of efforts understanding the patent, the market, choosing initial market, also most importantly, designing the strategy to monetize it. During the last presentation, some of the patent founders are there and listen to our ideas of how their technology can be adopted and in which market. At first I felt underperformed because I can't deliver something new and realisticly can be adopted in the market now as we are about to make a startup. But after the course we had social drinks, the founders turns out very very happy with the ideas that students are presented and they become very motivated to continue their research on the ideas! Then I realize entrepreneurship is not all about monetization. For the researchers, it is how the innovation can have a greater impact. A slight idea of that is "make sense in theory" and the potential impact in society sparks the spirit of innovation within them. This course has been thought in TU Delft for more than 20 years by dap hartmann , and I would reccommend this to anyone studying or about to study in TU Delft. #innovation #entrepreneurship #management

🚀 Reflecting on a Transformative Journey in Technology Entrepreneurship As we wrap up our TIMG 5002 - Technology Entrepreneurship course, I'm thrilled to share that the journey has been nothing short of enlightening. Under the expert guidance of the instructor Eduardo Bailetti, I've explored the depths of leveraging AI, specifically Gen-AI, for entrepreneurship, strategic development, and crafting compelling value propositions. Throughout the course, we had the unique opportunity to put theory into practice by launching our very own venture, Analyticraft Solutions. As a provider of cutting-edge business intelligence solutions, Analyticraft is built on the foundational knowledge we've gathered during our studies. By presenting our project and receiving insightful feedback from both our instructor and peers, we've gained invaluable experience and boosted our confidence in pitching to potential investors. A heartfelt thank you to Eduardo Bailetti for his unwavering support and wisdom, and to all my classmates who contributed to this enriching experience. The journey doesn’t end here; it’s just the beginning of a promising venture where we aim to transform data into decisions. 🔗 Stay tuned as we embark on this exciting path, and feel free to connect if you’re interested in learning more about Analyticraft Solutions or exploring potential collaborations. #TechnologyEntrepreneurship #BusinessIntelligence #StartupJourney #EntrepreneurialSpirit #AnalyticraftSolutions

In 2004, a young student at Harvard dreamt of connecting the world. By the time 2009 rolled around, a new micro-blogging platform gave voices to millions within 140 characters. It's unbelievable how just a spark of innovation can change the world. There's a reason why these platforms are legendary – because they dared to be different. Research papers constantly highlight how 85% of startups fail within the first year. But, diving deeper, most of these failures lack vision or a compelling POV No BS. You don’t need deep pockets, just deep passion and a vision that doesn't waver. Get started. Make mistakes. Be legendary. → Tell me your thoughts & questions → Follow me! If You Fail Never Give Up Because... FAIL stands for First Attempt in Learning and highlights the importance of perseverance and continuous learning in the face of failure. Failure is synonymous with experimentation, and as all scientists and entrepreneurs know, experimentation is the foundation of innovation. To innovate, we need to bounce back after failure and learn from your mistakes. "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." - Thomas Edison 👍 Give this post a thumbs up ➕ Follow me for more Startup Tips Credit Dr. A.P.J. Why Entrepreneurs Should Think Like Scientists! We loved this insightful article from Harvard Business Review on how applying the scientific method can significantly boost start-up performance. Here are four key takeaways that align perfectly with the principles we utiliise, not only for our clients but for ourselves too. Formulate, Test, Tweak: Start-ups using the scientific method to test hypotheses and iterate based on data generated more revenue and pivoted more effectively. Evidence-Gathering: Incorporating techniques like qualitative interviews and surveys, ensures decisions are data-driven and customer-focused. Adapt and Pivot Early: Embracing early pivots based on experimental insights leads to better alignment with market needs and higher chances of success. Iterative Testing: Continuously refining theories through rigorous experimentation helps in validating ideas and avoiding costly mistakes. We would love to know your thoughts, how do you imagine you too can start thinking like a scientist? #Entrepreneurship #AgileDesign #DesignThinking #OrgDesign #Innovation #KaleidoscopeConsulting

Really worth it! Some key points to get you interested: 2. When you are right, I the only thing that you learned is that you are right. This means that you have learned nothing at all, you consumed your own information. Whereas when you are wrong, you updated yourself, then you truly learned. You learned something new. 3. Learning from mistake is not about falling on it, but but stepping out of it. That's learning and improvement. 4. The main product of your innovation is you - there's self grow and self improvement Just finished Why Smart Founders Are "Productively Wrong"! Check it out: https://lnkd.in/gHk5XqsW #entrepreneurship

After a journey of great learning, I am happy to announce the completion of the Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market course! 🎉 In a world where groundbreaking technologies often struggle to transition from the lab to the market, some institutions like universities, government labs, and private companies invest significant resources into R&D, yet few technologies successfully make it to market. Through this course, I delved into the critical factors determining success and learned how entrepreneurs bridge the gap between promising technology and market demand. I'm eager to apply these newly acquired skills in my own entrepreneurial journey. #TechnologyEntrepreneurship #Innovation #LabToMarket
