Friends, Family, Colleagues, I am officially a Clinical Psychology Masters graduate from Teachers College, Columbia University. And I didn’t do it alone. I want to thank my incredible professors, and especially my IP sponsor, Melissa Cesarano Ph.D. for sharing knowledge, wisdom, and a perspective that I will forever carry with me. You all are my role models- like you all, I hope I can not only be incredibly smart but actually put that intelligence to good use, to bring positive change. I want to thank my parents for their lifetime of love and hard work to make my education and my dreams possible. I want to thank my roommates, Tanishka Sidhwani Sakshi Upadhyay, and my friends at TC for supporting me on those homesick or stressful days. I truly feel that the world is in good hands with these future clinicians. I want to thank Venkata Sai Duvvuri for being the hallmark of an unconditionally supportive partner. These two years have been so much more than a degree or an education…it’s been a transformative journey. Psychology is not for the faint of heart! But, as I have come to realize…always keep a little room in your heart for the unimaginable 🦋
So happy to see all the growth you’ve made in these two years. Immensely proud of you❤️
