After a month at Adludio, I'm even more bought into the problem that we're solving for brands and media agencies (more info below). I’m always amazed at how good pharma is at understanding the connections among the 4Ps in hiring senior marketers. Look at the job description of a brand head for most businesses and it is about visual and verbal ID (if you’re lucky) and demand generation/performance marketing (if you’re not). Pharma? They’d eat those jokers alive. This is what a real brand director does. Is there identity, campaign here? Of course. Not a peep about CPM. That’s junior level stuff. And yet I see ads for so-called “CMOs” that are 90% managing adtech/martech and MQL generation.
