How an idea flourished into an initiative? In routine day - to-day work completion in our offices, meeting deadlines, sometimes just completing the task assigned even if it doesn't fall in our interest area we end up not getting enough time to read about what we like. FHTS has dedicated one event every month wherein one member of the team can present on any new topic of his/her choice, share recent research findings and global happenings. This not only encourages the member presenting to get a push to read the topic of choice but also gives new learning opportunities to others. Success and participation of the team members in an idea which started as a journal club meeting turned into an initiative REACH which aims to foster a culture of continuous learning. Team members from all FHTS centers across India join together in this monthly activity. FHTS is committed to take forward the mission of this initiative to enhance professional development of the team. FHTS, a participatory platform for all wherein each member joining gets equal opportunity to get nurtured, learn new skills and is bestowed with a faith that he/she would join hands to take forward the mission, vision and the belief of why the seed of FHTS was sown by Dr. Joshi to help others achieve their dreams. Trainees at Schmersal: responsibility in practice 💡   Project work is indispensable in the modern working world. At Schmersal, this is not only recognised, but actively integrated into training. Under the motto #SchmersalTinkers, trainees and students can develop project management skills not only in theory, but also in practice. 👩🔧👨💻   The focus of the first project was the development of a mobile phone case for Schmersal's company mobile phones. Four trainees and students from different disciplines made up the team, which took on #responsibility not only in theory but also in practice. 📱   From conception to presentation at the SPS trade fair in Nuremberg, the team went through a structured project process. The positive response encouraged the team to continue the #project and develop another mobile phone case. 📅   Schmersal shows that responsibility and self-organisation are not just buzzwords, but are actively practised in #training.
