I was supposed to remove my green banner today... On Friday night, I went to bed excited, anticipating today as the day I would inform my LinkedIn network that I was taking down my green banner. However, that plan took an unexpected turn. Instead, I woke up on Saturday morning to an email that was sent late Friday evening from the company, stating that I could no longer start on Monday because the client I was hired to support no longer desired a dedicated project manager. I reread the email repeatedly to confirm what I was reading was true.I felt distraught and devastated, to say the least. This has been the LONGEST nine months.🤦🏾♀️ I initially signed the offer about a week before Christmas, filled with excitement about starting the New Year with a new job. The past 48 hours have been emotionally challenging. Unfortunately, this has placed me in a tight bind. So, I'm reaching out one last time to my network and asking for assistance . If anyone in my network knows of any open Project Manager roles, please send them my way. Additionally, if anyone is willing to provide a referral, it would be greatly appreciated! I interviewed for a Customer Service position, I thought the interview went well. I received a call from the human resource person that I was selected for the position and I would be receiving the offer letter the following day by email. Unfortunately, I received an email that said "oops we contacted the wrong person, we apologize for the inconvenience, Have a nice day! I was so angry, I have never experienced anything like this. I am also open to work hybrid and remote.

Hang in there! Going through the exact same thing. Spent most of Q4 interviewing with a company for a variety of roles they were building a team for. Put on hold just after verifying my references in October - called me out of no where mid-December to set up a final interview for Jan. 9 - texted me on Monday saying the interview is cancelled, no further updates. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
